Photo Contest Entry Information

Rules & Prizes

For every $15, you are allowed to enter three separate images. You can enter as many images as you would like in quantities of three. All proceeds go to the Ludington Area Arts Council as a fund raiser.

1. Include: Please include the name of the photo, who took it, where it was taken, and when it was taken.
   
   
2. Deadline: The deadline to email images is midnight November 30th. The winners will be announced Friday night December 5th at the Todd and Brad Reed Photo Gallery in downtown Ludington during the Holiday Parade. An email will be sent out that night showing the winning photographs and who took them.
   
   
3. Image Dimensions:
   - Horizontal photographs: width = 800 pixels
   - Vertical photographs: height = 800 pixels
   - Square format: 800 pixels x 800 pixels
   All of the images will be emailed to the Art's Council and forwarded to Brad and Todd Reed after Paypal confirms your payment. Your images will also be viewable to the public on our Photo Contest Gallery page. The Grand Prize winner will be contacted by the Reed's for a printable, high resolution file of the winning photograph.
   
   
4. Categories: There will not be separate categories for the winning photos. People, action, landscape, nature, abstract, documentary, wedding, sports, etc. will all be accepted and judged together by Todd and Brad Reed.
   
   
5. Prizes: There will be a $200 gift certificate to Todd & Brad Reed Photography for the grand prize winning photo. There will be a $150 gift certificate for second place. There will be a $100 gift certificate for third place and there will be a $50 gift certificate for fourth place. There will be four separate winners for each of the gift certificates. Todd & Brad Reed Photography will print, matte, and frame a 14 inch print of the grand prize winning photo and it will be on display at the new Ludington Area Center for the Arts for a year.
